Who we are: We’re a young, ambitious charity hiring our first in-house marketing team. We work with vulnerable Muslim children below the poverty line. Our dream is to end world hunger. Our work is to get children out of poverty, one school meal at a time.
What we do: Without us, children whose family cannot afford daily meals must choose between child labour, child marriage or hunger. With us, they can come to school and eat warm, nutritious meals every day. And they can learn, develop and have a chance for a better future. It’s pretty inspiring!

Who we are looking for: We welcome active, ambitious team members who might or might not have much experience. Our top hiring criteria is care for our mission, deep curiosity to become a great marketer and strong drive to get things done - whether from experience or from grit and hours of googling, testing and learning on the job.

🔨 What you will do:

You will join our in-house marketing team as we build out our most promising marketing channels. You will get to take on one or multiple responsibilities based on your interests, availability and performance:
Data Analysis & visualization
Look at our current marketing setup, share your conclusions, analyze data to verify them, develop spreadsheets and dashboards, propose and implement improvements. Design new and improve existing data funnels, tools and processes.
Google SEO, SEM
Look at our current SEO setup, consider ways to improve it, analyze keywords, optimize old content, create and optimize new content. Look at our current SEM setup, consider ways to improve it, keep track of ad performance, improve existing ads and make new ones.
Meta advertising (Facebook, Instagram)
Look at our current Meta ads setup, consider ways to improve it, keep track of ad performance, analyze creatives, audiences, engagement, present findings, adjust existing ads and make new ones.
Organic social media content
Look at our and our competitors’ organic social media content. Analyze, propose, test, improve posts, stories, livestreams on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube. Launch and execute TikTok and LinkedIn. Research and consider other social media platforms.
Email marketing (Campaigns, Automations)
Look at our current performance in Mailchimp, propose improvements, set up segments, plan and execute campaigns, oversee analytics, report performance and insights, propose and implement ways to grow and engage our list. Set up user journeys, automations, marketing and service emails.
Copywriting
Review our content and its performance, propose and test ways to improve the copy, work together with design, video, web development to improve, test, review, repeat. Write blog posts, emails, social posts, presentations, reports, templates, design briefs and more.
Visual design
Review our content and its performance, propose and test ways to improve the visuals. Design website images, social media content, email visuals, sales presentations, posters, flyers, banners, PDF reports and more.
UX design
Review our website and landing pages, assess performance, propose and test ways to improve the UX. Design desktop and mobile UX, work with traffic and customer support team to understand user journeys, talk to users, test and adjust landing pages.
Web development
Build landing pages, web pages, integrate different forms, plugins, tools on a WordPress website or propose your own tools for particular outcomes.
Video editing
Edit video content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, Website, email, events. If you have the equipment, filming is also an option.
Key account management
Work with partners from Launchgood, My Ten Nights, software partners, fundraising partners, influencers, event vendors. Find ways to maximize value from existing contracts, look for new fundraising partnerships with other vendors and fundraising partners.
10x revenue wildcard pitch
Test your creativity to the max by proposing ways to multiply our revenue - sales, products, campaigns, partnerships, or completely something else. Get experience pitching a high-impact initiative to decision makers and get credit if it succeeds.

  • Startup culture. We are small, we are a charity, we are on a mission. There will be a fast flow of tasks and changing priorities. There will be some tight deadlines and some fast adjustments to market feedback to hit our goals. And there will also be impact, growth, new learnings and passionate teammates.
  • A portfolio piece. As you show growth, we will give you responsibility over a marketing piece that you’re most keen to put in your portfolio. It could be ads, social posts, landing pages, designs, videos, emails, blog posts, events, sales decks, data spreadsheets, AI automations. Anything that makes sense for us and for you.
  • Ways to make money & enter marketing careers. If we work well together, we will help you grow as a marketer. It could be intros to entry-level jobs if anyone we know is hiring. It could be recommendations when you apply to jobs yourself. It could be testimonials on your own website. And it could also be a job at Charity Right!
